At Mica Tapes Europe, we try to include sustainability in our daily decisions. As much as possible, we work on aligning our business with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDGs are a set of 17 global objectives adopted by all UN member states to address the world’s most pressing challenges—ranging from ending poverty and hunger to promoting quality education, gender equality, clean energy and responsible industry. Together, these goals provide a shared roadmap for governments, businesses, and communities to create a more sustainable, equitable future by 2030.

We understand that our role in the global economy comes with responsibility. Through concrete actions within our company and our community, we are taking our share in working towards a more inclusive, safer and fair future for all.

SDG 1 & 2: No Poverty & Zero Hunger

Taking care of our community.
To support those facing hardship, we contribute to food donation programs (don alimentaire). We believe that supporting local communities in need is a vital part of our social mission and a small but meaningful step toward reducing poverty and hunger.

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being

The safety and the well-being of our people come first.
Lately, we have invested in improving our machinery and equipment to create a safer and more comfortable working environment for our employees. This ensures better ergonomics, reduced physical strain, noise and fewer risks.

SDG 4: Quality Education

At MTE, we believe learning never stops. Every employee takes part in annual training, whether it’s technical development, safety practices or personal skill-building. We are committed to continuous learning, helping our team grow with the company and stay prepared for the future.

In our company, we invite each of us to take part in training at least once a year.
